Madison Ladymon, Owner, Artist, and Lead Designer

Studio Madison Creative was born kind of by happy accident but in many ways, it’s been a long time coming. From a young age, Madison loved art and was rarely ever not creating something - ask her about the time she channeled her inner Pollock with a friend in their unfinished attic (sorry, Mrs. Miranda!). Madison also has deep family roots in the paper business - her great grandparents founded a company that sold printing presses and equipment! Some of Madison’s fondest memories are looking at old printing blocks with her grandpa and her dad’s stories about his time working in the shop as a teenager.

After nearly a decade at ad agencies in New York, dozens of TV spots later, and a few fits and starts, Studio Madison was born. The studio is a culmination of Madison’s passion for design, handwritten notes, etiquette, and hosting rambunctious dinner parties with friends. Her vision for the studio is simple: beautiful, high-quality custom stationery at attainable prices that make both every day moments and major milestones luxurious.

When Madison isn’t designing stationery, she spends most of her time planning the next ski trip or buried in the latest issue of Architectural Digest. She currently resides in the Flatiron District of New York City with her boyfriend and their Labrador-Collie mix, Dirk.
